We make every attempt to update our frequently asked questions section as the needs of our patients often change. We welcome any feedback you have or if you want us to add a question that could be helpful to other patients.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No you do not need to make an appointment at any of The Doctors Center locations throughout Jacksonville. We recommend using our online scheduling form to make an appointment at a location nearest you to ensure a timely visit.

How and when do I pay for my visit?

We currently accept private insurance, Medicaid (Pediatric only), Medicare, cash, checks and major credit cards. Payment for co-pays, co-insurances, deductibles and self pay are due at time of service.

How long will I wait as a 'walk-in' patient?

Depending upon the current patient count, walk-in patients are often seen with minimal wait times. As with most businesses, individuals may experience longer wait times during hours of higher volume, such as lunchtime.

What do I need to bring with me for my visit?

For your visit please bring a photo ID, a completed Patient Information sheet, payment, insurance information and any other documentation that may be helpful during your visit.

What is the best way to schedule an appointment?

The easiest way to schedule an appointment is to use our online appointment request form. Once completed you will be entered into our scheduling software and a staff member will call you on the provided number to confirm the location, date and time.

Do The Doctors Center locations provide services for businesses?

Yes. We provide Occupational Medicine for businesses throughout Northeast Florida. Our services include employee drug screening, hearing tests, executive physicals, DOT exams and more.

What is your appointment cancellation policy?

Scheduled patients may cancel an appointment twenty-four hours prior to their appointment time. If a cancellation or no-show occurs within twenty-four hours, patient will be billed $30.00.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most major private insurance policies. Although we try to stay up-to-date to with all insurance providers, policies frequently change. Upon your visit we will help to verify your insurance benefits.
